These are so thin and vacuum sealed that they simply shred when you try to open them. Returned and refunded by amazon

Getting 200 in the package makes these much easier to praise. This is especially true because care must be taken trying to get them to cover larger bowls. One tug too much and they split… very thin material. But they’re still very handy in the kitchen. I use them mostly when proofing pizza dough balls in individual greased glass bowls at room temperature. The covers can be “tented” to allow the dough to rise without sticking to the cover. And there’s just enough air flow to allow gases to escape the container yet they’re still tight enough to keep moisture in.

I have been anxiously awaiting this order of 200PCS Bowl Covers for Bread Proofing, Elastic Sourdough Bread Baking Cover, as it took almost a month to arrive. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box to find a hard, vacuum packed, mystery bundle. I thought there was no way the parcel could contain 200 bowl covers, and even if it did, they probably wouldn't fit a teacup. I'm glad to say I was wrong.The funny looking wrinkled piece of plastic unfolds into a cover that would fit up to a 10-inch bowl. My photos with the review show the cover on a 6-inch bowl. The elastic band on the cover has real stretch to it and fits securely around the bowl, it's not just a wimpy piece of plastic drooping around the bowl. The plastic is thin, so the covers likely wouldn't hold up to being washed and used a second time, but they do a great job on the first go round. The current price of $9.99 is $4.00 less than when I placed my order, so for a busy baker I think this would be a good value.

I ordered these to use while my sourdough bread rises. Every time I try to stretch them over the bowls they rip right away. Mind you the covers are more than big enough to cover the bowl. These are not durable to use more than once.
