I recently purchased a new mountain bike which had similar shifters however they required a different method of actuation which doesn't work very well on trails.The shifters correct that issue. I also installed these on my son's bike to replace his twist shifters. After the initial installation and some minor adjustments, they work perfectly.

I used this kit to replaced the original shifters and cables on my Trek 7.2FX that is 10 years old as of 2023.The kit includes good quality cables and housings for both the front and rear brakes and the front and rear derailluers.If you have to cut sections of outer cables our housings make sure you have quality cable cutters (not wire cutters). The kit does not include cable cutters.Happy to say that my bike is shifting perfectly now. The shifter action is easy on my thumbs and fingers, and the gear indicator is easy to read. The Good kit for 24 speed bikes.

Arrived quickly. No worries, this set of shifters has everything you’ll need to swap out old grip shifters to trigger shifters.A set of shifters with cables, new brake cables and all the cable housing you’ll need to do the job.A quick google search and you’ll find a ton of videos that will walk you thru the entire thing.The entire job took less than 30mins including watching the how-to video.
