These are the OEM Shimano jockey wheels that come in the new style box packaging.

The bearings in the tension jockey wheel were virtually frozen, no amount of cleaning would free it. Replaced both wheels with these, my bike now shifts like a dream again.

I had to file down the teeth on the upper/longer tooth pulley. They were too wide for my 11 spd chain, causing the chain to hold onto the pulley and not operate smoothly.

My previous set of pulleys lasted 6 seasons and were still in fairly good shape. Admittedly I clean and lube my drivetrain regularly, especially in muddy conditions so I'm sure that made a difference. The teeth were showing some wear and they didn't spin quite as well as new, so I figured it was time to replace. Years ago I bought some knock-off pulleys, but never even installed them since the bearings were garbage and there was play in the system. Don't bother with any other brand, just buy OEM and thank yourself later. I have no reason to expect this pair to not last as long as the previous set, and based on the age of my bike, likely the last set I'll need for this bike at least.
