Didn’t even know that something like this existed until I saw it on Amazon! I had the perfect need for this. My security camera center is in my garage and I was going to run a HDMI cable through a wall and to an inside TV. This saved me all that trouble. Attached the TX unit to the console and the receiver to an open HDMI port on my TV. Powered up and it connected immediately. Nice clear image.Be warned though that this comes with NO cables or power supplies. I bought 2 short HDMIs off Amazon, and found 2 USB-C cables and 2 small plug in power cubes in my junk drawer.

Not sure if I would use these for a live-streaming situation, but these are perfect for client/director monitors. These would also work well for a static/podcasting type of livestream where there is little camera movement and limited amounts of wireless interference. If you are live-streaming in a church or other environment with these factors, I would test this extensively before going into production.For my use case, I dont envision a situation where I would allow monitoring from 100 yards away, nor monitoring on a different floor or in a far-away room with walls between TX and RX, so these fit my purpose. I use these on my GH5 Rig with the feelworld monitor with built in NP-F dummy, so everything works in one compact package.

We needed a simple way to link our camera to an additional monitor, and the Shimbol TP Mini did the trick! It was super easy to set up: we plugged them in and turned them on. That's it. Just know they take a while to sync up. The monitor will flicker a few times, but once they are synced, they are locked, and we've had no trouble with a lost signal.
