Well made and nice. I got specifically for the curved piece to do the inside of have carved bowls in making. This works great and I'm satisfied with how well it smooths.

These are not six scrapers. These are blanks for their manufacture.These are simply plates cut from a sheet of metal with unprocessed edges.you should be able to make scrapers from these blanks

Pues si; mala calidad, pero a un buen precio.Poniéndolo en perspectiva: podría comprar lamina galvanizada y cortar mis raspadores de un metal de mejor calidad que estos; pero... estos vienen con corte de prensa, en un paquete de 6, incluye el cuello de ganso y el cóncavo. ¡Pues!¿que más da?, un par de horas de afilado y cuento con mis raspadores, son MUCHO mas económicos que otros que probablemente también tendré que afilar recién lleguen.¡Cuidado!, no utilicen el filo con el que vienen, solo rasparan su trabajo, dediquen unas horas a crear el gancho bien afilado y parejo.Necesitaran una piedra de diamante para matar el filo parejo para un afilado fino o una lima fina para un filo rudo si solo los usaran para limpiar sus piezas.Otra cosa, en México, casi toda la madera es pino; no se frustren si no obtienen viruta y solo consiguen sacar polvo (aserrín), el pino no se raspa como las maderas mas duras, pero igual les sera de utilidad y ahorraran mucho tiempo de lijado

To keep things in perspective I ordered 3 sets of scrapers, i.e. this Shop Fox set, a set by Crown and a set by Veritas. I am a power tool junkie and total beginner using cabinet scrapers. The edges of the Shop Fox scrapers were really rough looking, much worse than the Crown. It took about 25 to 30 initial strokes of the file for each edge compared to 7 or 8 strokes for the Crown.After that, polishing and burnishing was comparable to the crown scrapers. The Veritas scrapers are a little thinner which helps when tweaking them to follow wood which isn't perfectly flat. The Veritas scrapers come with beautiful edges on every side protected by plastic covers on the long sides and ready to burnish which takes only about 3 or 4 strokes. The Shop Fox and Crown are inexpensive and effective once the edges are established. For a little more cash you can get a much better product from Veritas. If you are learning to sharpen too as I was, the edges on the Shop Fox scrapers (as delivered) will definitely increase the learning curve. Prepping the Shop Fox set for work was really frustrating and I couldn't figure it out at all until I purchased jewelers loupes so I could see what was happening. Still it's a good value overall. Recommended.
