This replaced a failed switch on my Ridgid table saw. Since the Ridgid switch had failed twice, I wanted to try a different one. This one is larger than the original switch, which required some minor modification of the saw.I would have given five stars except for the fact that this switch has five connection spades, compared to the four on the Ridgid switch. A wiring mod, using the enclosed instructions, fixed the problem. Table saw is back in the game.

Well, first of all I’ve to say I’m pretty lazy to write in reviews but at this time I’m so glad because after got frustrated looking for the right part for my table saw without get any right items available online and any local store neither, here is the thing. My Ridgid R4514 table saw was broken with by paddle power on /off switch so the magnetic on button just got loose. So then I was looking for the right part who is R4514 Kedu 01173 but I wasn’t able to find it even in eBay, Amazon or any other china supplies. I just found this part on Amazon D4530 120v it’s a bit different than the original Ridgid part but I ordered and then I already installed it. Here is the part that you want to hear lol. It works perfectly. The old one has 6 connections but this switch just comes with 5 pin connections. I mean I left a line disconnected, that line is just an extra neutral ground protection for the machine. I’ll show you in the pictures attached in this review how to connect the hot in / hot out —neutral in/neutral out and the ground line in the thin pin on the side of the switch.The machine is working in perfect condition I put a yellow tape to mark the canceled line. The new switch measurements has a perfect fit in the old housing as well.I hope to helping you guys with this note. Thanks.

Installed these on my drill press, jointer and bandsaw, replacing the simple on/off switches. I’m quite happy with the result. I found that a 7/8” x 1.7/8” rectangular hole is about the right size for mounting these switches.

I am putting these on all my stationary shop tools that didn't come with one. I like the fact that they are small enough to put in a normal light switch size connection box. Direct replacement in my Grizzly band saw and Taiwan drill press.
