Après un an, il y a déjà de la rouille sur cette barrure. Cela n'affecte pas son fonctionnement mais ça incite à l'asperger d'huile de façon préventive.

Good price, and there are many manufacturers that have this exact same design (Curt, Reese, Chinese no-name brands, etc.). This is one of the better trailer coupler locking designs because the key turns a threaded "bolt/screw" to disconnect it, instead of turning a 1/4 turn and you popping out the lock. Why is this better? Because as Locking Picking Lawyer demonstrated, even if you can pick this lock, you have to do it about a half dozen times because for every 1/4 revolution of the cylinder, you have to pick it again, so the sheer time/effort required to pick this lock isn't worth it for a casual meth head thief. Sure, the lock itself is weak and can probably be hammered or angle grinder'ed out, but at that point, you lost anyways... Go get this lock as part of your complete security system of multiple locks and good trailer storage practice.

I use it to lock a boat trailer tongue coupler when not in use and to lock it to my vehicle. I ordered a second to lock a chain around the wheels and trailer. Both get wet from the rain or lake so I like the rubber seal which protects the internal components from dust/water. It screws down so it can be locked at various lengths. Very sturdy.
