I was looking for good quality studio quality headphones. I have the Shure earbuds and they have lasted many years with no real issues and have great sound quality so I decided to purchase these and see how it went. I wasn’t disappointed. Very comfortable and sturdy construction. The sound quality is crisp and detailed. The chord length is 10 feet so you won’t have any issue with length. The size can fit any head I would assume with many adjustments available. Would recommend.

These headphones sound great for the price. Good balance between clarity and bass. Comfortable to wear. Build quality feels good as well. Happy with my purchase.

Compré estos audífonos bajo la impresión de que eran los 840, pero resulta que la tonalidad que utilizan estos es diferente. La impedancia de estos audífonos los hace fáciles de correr sin necesidad de un amplificador, aunque es necesario aclarar que la manera en la que están afinados hacen que los instrumentos electrónicos tengan más notoriedad al momento de escuchar música mientras que instrumentos como el piano y las vocales se escuchen vacíos apesar de que puedas apuntar con el dedo en qué parte del espacio se encontraban al momento de grabar la canción.

I'm fairly new to high quality headphones, so take this review with that in mind.I am coming from the Sennheiser HD 598SR's as my main daily drivers, and I also own a pair of WH-XM3's and these headphones I would say are better than both of them. I'm realizing I personally prefer closed-back to open-back, as the 598's are open-back, and these are of course closed-back.To put it more into words, I'm finding the SRH840's to be extremely well balanced, and crisp. I feel like I could hear an ant fart while a nuke is going off. I hear all frequencies far better than I've ever experienced before with any other headphone, and listening to anything right now is an absolute joy. Gunshots in movies startle me with how loud they are - despite never experiencing this before with any other headphone. While I'm also noticing minute and small details in music I've been listening to, like faint notes or whispers in the background that I've never noticed before.If I encounter build issues I may update this review accordingly, so for now, just on sound alone, these are an easy 5 star. The best headphones I've personally ever owned.

Sold off my 1st gens in anticipation of the improvements noted in this version - while I think that the sound quality is great and the other QOL improvements are there, the build quality has decreased noticeably in my opinion. It feels like the plastic that they used is cheaper, especially at the hinges which I anticipate will be where breaks will happen. This was enough for me to follow through with a return.

Tengo el mismo modelo de audífonos pero de la generación anterior, sin embargo quería un par extra, este nuevo modelo es menos pesado y en mi opinión el sonido tambien es mejor.

Me gustó mucho y pude deshacerme de los m50x. No requiere de mucha energía para sonar genial, incluso conectándolo al celular. El sonido es mucho mejor, más claro, nitido. Mi único detalle sería el cable que es muy largo y solo trae uno, pero ya vi que se puede conseguir uno más corto y con control de sonido. Se los recomiendo si es tu primer audífono y quieres conseguir los audio technica, estos son mucho mejores.

Calidad Shure, muy nítido el sonido, no te molestan en las orejas y otros si me molestaban, los uso para practicar guitarra, bastante cómodos y además disfruto el audio. Los graves no son exagerados, pero si le dan presencia a las pistas, para aquellos que se quejan al contrario muy buena relación de graves, medios y agudos, claro, si quieres audífonos para mezcla exclusiva, pues para eso están los de tipo abierto.Saludos.

Tenía unos Shure SRH440 primera generación y siento que el cambio a esta segunda generación ayudó mucho a hacerlos más resistentes. Estos SRH840A se sientes con respuesta aún más plana que los que tenía. Sobre todo lo sentí en los agudos
