First use was to cut some strips to glue up a formed handle. Very easy to use and much safer way to get this done on my table saw.

It is very well built and fit miter slot snug. The thickness gauge is quite accurate with very little play. The markings are well designed to give user good visibility. One trick I learned is that the ball bearing at the tip of the gauge should only barely touch the wood I am cutting. Too close, you run the risk of wood piece get squeezed between saw blade and fence. Can be dangerous.

I wasn’t sure if a jig like this would be worth getting. But after watching some videos it made sense that this would be something useful. I was amazed how well it’s made and weight. For the price you couldn’t come close to making one. After getting this, I was confused as to how the scale worked. But after looking at the instructions, it wasn’t hard to figure out. This jig fit my job site 10” Skilsaw SPT99-11 perfectly and holds solid in the t-track. The bearing is one way to prevent kickback, and can be reversed to work on either side of the blade. After getting it dialed in, this thing was spot on. It’s great for making repetitive cuts at a certain thickness and will come in handy in the shop. For the money, this is worth getting and I recommend it!

The device is a little difficult to accurately et or alter. I thing that the problem is tolerances in the sliding components are not as accurate as required.
