Childs size 5. Fits true to size but the material has good stretch so could be a regular size children's size 6. They are thin and fit comfortably under clothing and the inside is velvety soft. Our child likes the way they feel on. They keep him warm as that extra under layer. They have washed well keeping their shape.

My child likes these! The "furry inside and smooth outside" is what he said he likes the most. I think that they are true to size for a 6/7-- we like to order things that are too big so they will last longer. But I am not sure how these would be "compression" for a size 6/7. These are big, but not huge and staying on so it is a win! (My child is 43.5 inches tall, 21 inch waist, 18 inch inseam.) The fabric is thinner than I was expecting, so I hope they do not rip too easily. See photo of inside of arm cuff. The seams are not great and I hope they do not unravel. The fabric is wrinkly as well so they just look a little worn/old after wearing for 12 hours. But for the price, these are what I would expect and getting a set of 2 is nice! This is good for layering since they are thin, but they do provide some warmth with the micro fleece on the inside. The fabric picks up lint *really* easily and the black ones are covered in fuzz and pet hair from wearing these overnight and around the house this morning. I wish these had come in some other colors as well. But performance-wise, they seem good and they will work underneath rain pants and coat as a base layer which is what we need them for! Could double as pajamas too, my son wore these happily last night.
