Like I said, this is currently my favorite ballhead out of the SmallRig, Sioti, vintage Rowi and vintage Prazision ballheads i currently own. As much as I LOVE my vintage stuff, the Sioti and SmallRig ballheads DO lock down MUCH MUCH tighter and give me great confidence when using my expensive microphones above them. I didn't know ballheads could even get this much gripping power as I've almost always used the vintage Rowi, Braun & Prazision ballheads in the past since they were made in Germany in the 70's & 80's.But I like this Sioti ballhead the most for a few reasons. First, it's gripping power. It's just insane and super reliable. Secondly, the knob on it is super easy to use AND you can change it's direction by pulling it out and moving it, just like my Deekenstar NATO clamp. The shape of the knob is also nicer than most. Instead of having symmetrical sides, it only has the knob on one side, which makes locking/unlocking it super easy AND secure without hurting my fingers. And thirdly, it's style and color. The black and red combo is just downright sexy looking and I'm more than proud to display this at the top of my mic stand!!! I'll definitely be picking up a few more.

It’s so compact yet sturdy. I really like this addition to my tripop. I am just using it on an iPhone so I cannot attest to how well it would work for a DSLR camera. Exceptional quality for the price.

Reggono perfettamente la macchina fotografica. Anche se inclinata non si sposta di un millimetro, quindi bene.
