I haven't gotten this installed yet as I'm waiting to have my windows replaces, but I have taken the opportunity to go through the contents. I Love all the pieces that come with it. I think it's a great quality for how much it's worth and cant wait to get this attached to my windows. I did connect the app with no issues and hope that stays like that. usually I have issues with connectivity, but we will see once I get it all in place!

Did not come with clear instructions to set up. If you barely move the back of the unit, the anti-tamper alarm goes off and good luck getting it to stop. I highly recommend you find another security system, as this one cannot be successfully hooked to WiFi (4 different people have tried to no avail!). It could be a great system IF it functioned properly. Save your money and buy some blink cameras and simple door alarms.

Ordered this product to try as I don’t have a security system in my house. The system uses an app for self monitoring away from home. The app interface is easy to navigate.System comes with the keypad , alarm siren, infrared the system works well but has some cons. They only provide you with 2 door/window sensors. Which means I need to purchase more sensors separately if I want better coverage. Uses an alkaline based battery for the keypad, however keypad will actually let you know how much juice is left on your battery.Another big plus is not having the expense of subscription fees.Overall I think it’s decent starter kit.

I've been using a similar alarm system for many years, and very much like the performance. I decided to order this one as an upgrade to the more analog version that I had previously, because this one allows me to connect it to the Wi-Fi in my home, and control it via the app when I'm not there. The kit comes with four door sensors, two RFID tags, one motion detector, 2 remotes, and one plug in siren. Of course you get the display panel as well. It all connects via the smart life app, which is great for me, because I'm very familiar with that app having used it many times before with lots of smart devices throughout my home. The alarm system is quickly detected, and set up was not very difficult at all. Mounting the wireless door sensors is a simple task, especially since I had a wireless system previously, so I just had to remove my old wireless door sensors, and replace it with these new ones. The display on the panel interface is basic, but easy to understand, and certainly good enough. Like I mentioned before, I've had a system like this for several years, though this one is a little more advanced, so I felt very familiar with it right from the start. It has expandability to add many different other accessories, including more door sensors, water sensors to monitor for flooding, more motion detectors, and other accessories like smoke detectors, wireless sirens, as well as other such things. I find the remotes very handy, which I did have with my older system as well, because they make activating and deactivating the alarm system simple when entering or exiting the house. Like I mentioned before, one of the nice differences for me is the use of my smart phone to control the system. It's nice to have the ability to control it remotely, especially if you do something foolish like leave the house without arming it. There is also the capability of incorporating interior cameras, but that's something I personally don't need, because I have cameras set up already with a different app. All in all, this is a great set for do it yourselfers, and added security. If you don't want the hassle of a service you pay for monthly, this is a great alternative. I know that they offer wireless sirens as well, I only wish that the set came with a wireless siren to begin with. Unfortunately, this has a siren that requires being wired, and where I mount the control panel, it's a little inconvenient in my case. That's a small complaint however, and like I said, if I did want to add a wireless siren, those are available. I'm very happy with it, and I would certainly recommend it for people with modest needs for decent added security.

This is a good all-in-one security kit that offers a great value, without ongoing subscription costs. There is a lot of equipment included in this kit, and this kind of hardware would cost 2 or 3 times as much if purchased separately. The base unit is impressive, especially at this price. It can do cell calls and text message, hardwired connections, a battery backup, and an anti-tamper device, so you get notified if the base unit is removed from the wall. Of course, there's a cost for a cell plan, but this isn't required if you just want notifications to your phone/tablet. Also, apparently the manufacturer has the power connection to USB-C - thanks and good riddance to micro USB. The unit could probably be run just on batteries, but I very much prefer having it plugged into the wall, with the batteries as a backup. The included USB power supply is rather primitive, though. On something this important (and perhaps sensitive) that's going to be running 24/7, I went with a more robust, name-brand power supply. Also, I like that this kit has so many ways to access the system. Of course the app is the prime method, but the screen on the main unit makes it so that many (in not all) functions can be handled right from the base unit. For arming and disarming, the keychain remotes work fine, although they need a better way to connect to a keychain - the O-ring isn't cutting it. On the other hand, I really like that this system can use RFID as well. The kit includes a couple of keychain RFID tags. Also, a coin sized RFID (not included) can be placed on the back of a cell phone, making it convenient and difficult to lose. (The system uses 125kHz).And, all the parts in this kit integrate well, thanks to the Smart Life (aka Tuya app). The app really simplifies things. Plus, it makes it easy to add on additional sensors and devices. For example, I already had 2 stand-alone door sensors and the app integrated them into the alarm system. With the app, there are many other manufacturers that use the same app, so extra stuff is readily available and inexpensive. I've also ordered a millimeter wave-based sensor that's supposed to be great for detecting human presence.
