I bought these snake gaiters for some added protection while hiking in snake-prone areas. The material feels very sturdy and reliable, which is reassuring. However, adjusting the straps was a bit tricky and took some effort. They fit well around my legs, but I noticed that they don’t offer full coverage, especially around the ankle area, which only has fabric. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase, but a little more coverage would make them perfect.

These are easy to adjust and comfortable to wear. They have a bit of weight to them, but I suspect that would be a good thing if they ever served their purpose. Fortunately, I have not had a snake strike at me so I can't speak to how they hold up. I am 6' 1" and when resting with the flap atop my footwear they protect to about 2 inches below my kneecap.

Wore them a lot this summer getting property ready for hunting season. The sole is already coming apart in the toe area. So basically they lasted for 3 months. On the bright side I did have a rattlesnake strike above the ankle no problems

Overall they appear to be able to do what they're supposed to do. I measured my calf as per the instructions and ordered the corresponding size. However, even though they fit around my calf, they were about 6 inches below my knee when positioned properly with the flap over my foot. They're not as tall as they appear in the photos. If i pulled them up to the top of my calf, the flap was barely touching the top of my boot and it left my ankles exposed. I am 6ft tall so maybe that has something to do with it. So, I tried them on my 12 year old daughter and they fit her perfectly when tightening the straps all the way.
