I was so worried about the 3/8 inch because that was one of the main reasons I went for this product since I already had an Optex tripod without a head and the screw I needed was 3/8 inch. I've always used 1/4 inch for everything, but once the product arrived that was the first thing I went to check and BANG!, the 3/8 inch was there, and it perfectly fit my tripod.
