I just completed some major rework on my daughter's Xterra, all the way down to swapping out the timing chains. While I was under the hood, I found that virtually nothing on this car had been replaced, and it was high time. When these VVT solenoids came up for review, I decided to give them a try as a bit of preventive maintenance, even though we weren't having any known issues with the old ones.While I can't claim that these are working better than the old ones, they're not causing any issues, so they must be doing their job. The car is running smoothly now, but as many parts as I replaced, I can't say which ones made the most improvement. What I can say is that these are acting as they should, and I'm happy I got the chance to throw these in along with the other repairs. Would recommend to others as a lower-cost alternative to OEM parts!

My xterra had an issue where sometimes there would be some noise on startup. This totally addressed this and addressed the issue so I can't complain.
