Son requested, It is both solar rechargeable and USB rechargeable. Very wide brim so face and neck protection is covered. Seems to be made well.

I ordered this hat because the older I get, the less I find I can deal with the sun beating down on my head and neck. As a hat it is substantial in size with a larger rim than others I have tried on. the material helps keep your head from sweating and running into your eyes. the only questionable issue i have is one of the same reasons I picked this hat. the black color of the top side of this hat seems to be a flop cause it actually heats my head, not as bad as not wearing the hat, but enough to knotice. I am sure if I had the cooling towel between my head and the hat it might cut some of that down.Now for the cooling part of the hat. the 2 Fans, Now these 2 fans do not look like they can push enough air to keep you comfortable. but let me tell you they do, very well at that. the only gripe i have it my old eyes have trouble seeing the buttons on the fan so if i dont have my glosses or it is too bright I can see which way the switches or where the push buttons are. Also it would have been nice to have some instructions telling you how to use the solar power capability. does it charge, while in use, or does it not charge the batteries, or does it only uses the solar part to run the fans. Overall i like the hat and the fans and cant wait to test it in a real world test when we head to SeaWorld Latter this year...

The good: it works well to help with the heat. Seller was responsive and when I messaged them about the fans not having solar panels, they did ship me out the correct fans.The bad: came with regular fans not solar fans (until I followed up). Hat causes headaches over time because it’s heavy.

This was not as advertised!!! There are no solar panels and that was the reason for purchasing. I wanted fans to charge while fishing on boat. The hat itself is made of good material but that’s not what sold me to purchase this product. I am disappointed! 😒
