I used these hooks to hang my bamboo cutting board against our tiled kitchen backsplash, they look very nice and have a wide enough allowance for our normal-thickness cutting board. It stayed up for about a week before one of the hooks gave out and fell off the wall. We stuck the same one on again and it lasted about 2 more weeks. I ended up swapping it with another one (4 pack, I only used 2 the first time) and it's holding so far. Time will tell if they stay stuck on the tiled surface, not sure how they'd fair on cabinet material since it's not as smooth.

They worked - for 24 hours. Then they fell off and were trash. I think the concept would work if they screwed in.

I have 2 large cutting boards that I am loathe to get rid of, but my kitchen has no good place to put them that is accessible and hidden. I also have cabinets with a "lip" on the bottom that looked like they may be meant for under cabinet lighting, so I was hoping these brackets would be well hidden.The package arrived with 4 adhesive pads and 4 brackets; the pads are a bit smaller than the face of the bracket, so they are easy to attach without there being any overhang. There are no instructions, but these are name brand 3M adhesives, so I just cleaned my surface, applied the brackets in the correct spots, held fast for a count of 30sec for each bracket and allowed them to sit for 12hrs with no weight.They look great (by this, I mean they are totally hidden by my cabinet) and they are roomy enough to hold both of my cutting boards!The only reason I'm deducting stars is I would have really preferred an option to attach the brackets with a screw or two, as the rest of the bracket seems sturdy enough, but also some brief instructions would have been great. Like I said, since the adhesive pads are name brand, I knew how they worked already, but this may not be the case for some folks.Overall, this is a very economical way to get yourself some hidden storage in your kitchen. It took a bit of time and patience to get them installed correctly, but nothing a handy husband can't do! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone wanting to hide their flat stuff and keep it handy!

poor adhesive strength. Installed exactly as promoted, and in less than 2 weeks 2 of the clips detached from underneath cabinet, removing the finish I now have to cover up, broke an expensive piece of pottery along with a soap dispenser, which will cost me over $60 to replace. the idea is a good one for space saving, but the product cannot hold anything with a weight beyond a couple of ounces. Totally useless, going in the trash. Do not recommend buying
