I use these to hold a shovel on the side of my overland bed rack and it works perfectly and looks really nice.

Great idea..very sturdy metal...the rubber bands do not hold up and stretch out...unfortunately...they got looser....over 1 month of use.

Gave it 4 stars for three reasons. First, the picture looked black, but they are glossy grey. Not a big deal, but they have a very nice looking paint. Second, if the diameter of the handle you are trying to secure is less than 1 1/4” it will move. If snugged mine up with a thick piece of rubber on the inner flat area. Lastly the hardware is cheap. I replaced with nice stainless button head bolts with a small washer to prevent damaging the paint. Other than that, I still think it is a good item and would buy again. IMO, they work better that quick fists.
