Sturdy and heavy duty. Use it to hold my iPad or iPhone up next to my computer monitors. Works exactly as advertised.

First, It took a few minutes to learn how each arm works and its maximum extension. It’s so hard to adjust in the beginning so I enlisted my husband to help. I used WD40 and maybe it had something to do with easing up the adjustments. Now I can do it without any help. It’s very sturdy and holds positions very well.

I have flexible arm ones and they have their uses if I need exact positioning that can't be exact turns of a mechanism, but for this I didn't want it to budget , but could easily turn into another use. I have this on my desk that's next to my bed so I can have it right where I want it for viewing laying down an then swing it back over to the desk out of the way when I don't. Very sturdy and well made.

Got this monitor mount for my mobile work-station setup to mount a 15inch portable monitor. I actually came across this arm after seeing it advertised in social media for 2x the price here on Amazon. The arm is stiff and firm in a good way. Prevents jittering when you are typing and holds my monitor comfortably. The joints require a lot of force to reposition which can be both a positive and a negative, for me its a positive as it prevents from inadvertently changing the angle etc when moving the table. Also, the blank spaces in the arm pieces are great to use Velcro ties to secure cables along the track of the arm and keeping things tidy. Well worth the price I paid here on Amazon.
