I was actually surprised when I went to take the suite off and my babies back and arms were dry! He was still shivering a bit in the water but it was a good barrier for his skin. My boy is 4 months exactly, 16lbs and size 6-12 months fits him perfectly (he’s in the 85% for height). I don’t like the blue color though it blends in to well in the pool.

We started swim lessons with my 7 month old and the first class he was freezing.Purchased this and it definitely helped. But poor guy was still pretty chilly. He seemed happier but was still shivering on and off.Also, whoever designed this. A back closure that only opens a few inches in the back is not baby friendly. Something that zips down significantly in the front, like baby pajamas, would be much easier. It’s a hassle to get on and my son didn’t enjoy it.

This was a game changer. Our little one (6 months) didn’t mind being in our non-heated pool, but he would get cold after 10-15 minutes.Now he is able to enjoy dips in the pool without getting cold. Also, I feel better since his skin is not exposed to direct sun.Once he grows out of this size, I plan to order the next size up.

This was great for taking our little one swimming and ensuring he stayed nice and warm. Having read the previous reviews and using the size chart I ordered the 6-12 month size for my average sized 4 month old. It was a little on the large side, but I’m not sure the size down would’ve fit, and certainly wouldn’t have lasted much length of time. We did also use a neoprene swim nappy cover under this suit just in case, but I’m not sure how necessary that was.

My little one was shivering in swimming lessons. This has much improved his enjoyment and he can stay in the pool for longer as a result. I bought this when little one was 3 months old and I bought a 6-12 months one. Was a little long in the legs but now hes 4 months it's a much better fit and he'll get months of enjoyment from it. The way it work is that its baggy so it traps the water inside and his body warms the water inside it. Seems to do the trick..
