The load center was missing the right screw and nut that hold the rail to the timing device. Additionally, the wire was run between the contacts and the mechanical part that puts pressure on them. I had a similar size nut and bolt in my shed and the poor routing of the wire was fairly obvious (it physically blocked the pressing of the contacts). I don't normally expect to have to disassemble something like this when it's new from the box, but it was pretty simple.The price was good and once I got it working it is vastly superior to my last two timer switches. It has better materials and operates smoothly. Its quality is obvious. I was a bit annoyed that I had to fix it, but I'm very glad that I choose it now that it's in operation.

I used this to replace a box on an A/C circuit. Everything mounted and went together great.

Very good product and the Outdoor box looks and performs very well! I installed this in a corner of our yard to power a DJ and lighting for a tent for a wedding we had! So glad I did this and now I need to come up with something more permanent to power with it. A garden shed perhaps!
