I have an offroad van and do a lot of camping using unkept forestry roads. I usually have to remove my Starlink because things on my roof get a lot of scratches from tree branches. With this cover now I can leave the Starlink mounted to the roof without having to worry. The cover is not clear as depicted in the Amazon picture, but looks to be a opaque durable plastic that's 3/32 or 2.37mm thick, it's like armor for your Starlink mini. What I really liked about this particular cover compared to the others, is that there is no slop that will allow dust and dirt to accumulate between the surfaces. The cover is directional, form fitted and has molded on clips that snap onto the bottom edges, making it difficult to remove. I haven't yet tested if there is a difference in signal strength, but from what I've seen in other reviews of similar products, I don't anticipate that there is going to be. I will update the signal performance on my next road trip.

This Starlink Mini protective cover is a great accessory for any Starlink Mini owner that wants to ensure that the surface of their Starlink Mini is kept in top condition. The cover itself is a plastic top that feels like it's made out of a harder, yet flexible vinyl material. The cover fits the Starlink Mini like a glove, perfectly (yet gently) slipping over the top surface and clipping onto the backside. The fitment is truly superb. For some, the cost considering it's a plastic material may be prohibitive, but it's nonetheless a great option for people that want to keep their investment protected if you do not already have a case to carry your Starlink in.
