Sturdy metal plate, tough mounting cradle and solid magnets. Diagonally took over 20lbs to mage one magnet loose the grip from the metal surface. I wouldn’t trust this to drive around with your starlink mounted to it doing hwy speeds but for driving around the town should be fine. Metal plate has a decent powder coating, magnets have a nice rubber coating , just be sure your mounting surface and rubber feet are clean before sticking this to your car to avoid surface damage. I was able to use this mount in 2 different ways, starlink and ham radio vertical antenna mount.

The Starlink Mini Car Mount is an excellent accessory for anyone using Starlink on the go. The magnetic mount is strong and secure, and the quick-release feature makes it easy to set up and take down. The 20° inclination is perfect for optimal positioning in my car. Whether in an RV, van, or SUV, this mount holds my device steady and works well for travel. The only downside is that it’s a bit bulky, but it does its job very well!
