The Starlink mini mount is all metal construction and comes with magnetic feet to attach to bay metal surface. The mini slides into the metal frame and gives it some strong protection from any knocks. If nice the mini is in the cage you just align it and set it down on the magnetic feet and it will hold fast to your vehicle. It is also strong enough to drive with it on the vehicle. Great for touring or camping.

The mount and Magnets are well made, look great. I mounted my Starlink Mini on the roof of my minivan using this magnetic mount. So far this is a great mount, handles highway speeds, storm winds and snow. And I can move it as needed. I highly recommend.
