The name Starrett says it all. Expensive and worth it.

I bought this one after buying a cheap one off eBay. Somethings your just better off spending the extra money for and this is one of them. Well made, clean work. I can also use the cheap tools other attachment with this one, but you really tell the quality difference between the two.

Works very well but I did not read the description close enough. I assumed it came with all the different ends but it's just the pointed shank that it comes with.

It's a shame that most folks having trouble making accurate holes with their new drill presses won't think to search for "wiggler" until they've spent lots of research time. The idea is old and simple. The end of the "needle" can flop around. That means if you push it until it does NOT flop around, you've found the exact center point of a drill press spindle. With that and a good magnifying glass, it becomes MUCH easier to line up exactly over a center-punch target for a drill. There are cheaper ones out there. Don't be tempted. It MUST worked smoothly and reliably. The whole thing depends on pushing that point to where it stops wiggling, then having it stay there. When the exact location of the hole makes a difference to you, this is a great way to improve that accuracy.
