Purchased same brand nap mat for my son 6 years ago and now ordered this one for my daughter to start preK with. Love the fabric, quality is amazing. Highly recommend

I’ve been impressed with this nap mat so far. We’ve been using it for a little over a month at preschool, so have washed it several times. It’s holding up very well and still looks like new. I hang it to dry.We have the original cotton blend Wildkin nap mat for my older son. This is his third school year with it and while it has held up fine, the blanket part is pilling and not as soft. The mat is thinner. Maybe the Stephen Joseph will look like the Wildkin in three years, but I don’t remember being as impressed with the Wildkin at any point. I would buy a Stephen Joseph over a Wildkin in a heartbeat having had both now. The Stephen Joseph blanket is so soft and I love the thickness of the mat. It’s thick enough to be comfortable, but not so ridiculously thick that it makes it hard to carry or fit into a locker. It’s nicer quality right off the bat compared to Wildkin.

Best napmat. After using another kind for one year (son in preschool) and it looking kind of shabby by the end, I re-read tons of reviews and tried this one. The inside layer of the attached blanket is sooooo soft (which is what comes in direct contact with your child). Made me feel terrible that I let my son use the other one all year which quickly became rough and pilly, even though it was the one the teachers recommended. My older son (kindergarten going into 1st) loved it so much that he asked me to get him one too! So they both sit cozied up in them while they watch TV over the weekends, since my younger son’s mat stays at school during the week. Highly recommend. And I usually don’t write a review unless it’s a stellar product.
