These boots feel fairly low quality and are not in fact lace-up - they have a side zipper that doesn’t appear in any photos. Unclear if this is a recent change and they haven’t updated the photo set; regardless, I would not have purchased them if I had known.

Like a few people mentioned this pair of boots has a zipper on the side, I personally don't dislike it but to each it's own. They do run big at least half a size. Overall I do like the looks of it, well made, not heavy, and can be worn with jeans or slacks. I was able to get then for under one hundred dollars so time will tell of it was a good investment. On a side note, the color seems darker in person than the pictures shown. Maybe my device resolution, but not a game charger imo.

It doesn’t say anywhere it has a zipper or show it in the picture.

Never had any issues in the past with Steve Madden shoes, however the seller needs to update their photo with current product so customers won't be disappointed when they receive the boots with the zipper on the side. I'm not 6yrs old anymore and don't need the zippers!

Even though the soles are not leather, they look like it. This is great because you can wear them in sloppy weather and not ruin the sole while looking dressy.
