I use a Mac and was surprised to see that you need a windows computer to run the application that updates the map card. I plugged it in without any updates and the speed limit is wrong in places that had recent construction. I don’t mind because I primarily use Apple CarPlay and its maps. I got this GPS nav as a backup because I’m very outdoorsy and go off grid a lot, and wanted to make sure I can always find my way around. This is good enough to keep me out of trouble, and that’s all I need.

If you want the Stinger Navigation to be independent of your phone - buy this. It is a great navigation system. You just need to get use to running a new system. It’s actually very good Navigation display with lots of extras.

My professional installers now gone back and forth for two days with Stinger. The GPS does not track properly and jumps around. If there is a side road on the track, it will jump to it and "RECALCULATING". The software was updated properly, even working with tech support. The antenna is not near my Sirius antenna. NOTHING we do fixes this issue. This was a huge purchase point for me. Now, I have a $1500 device that does not function as it should. The $150 purchase of the iGO navigation card is a waste. I am super surprised that this product can even be released. I'm not the only one this happens to. I will leave the card in, in hopes someone at Stinger will get their product fixed. But for now, I would NOT RECOMMEND this product at all.

Can’t sing the seller, review is for Stinger and Naviextras. Overpriced big time and didn’t come updated with latest maps. Download the tool and still won’t recognize the SD card even though I can see it in my files (and drill through). Probably a windows deal where it won’t run on Windows 11. Hard pass, do not purchase the Nav card and just use CarPlay or android auto

I received the Stinger Infotainment System Stereo Upgrade for my 2016 Rubicon Wrangler as birthday gift from my wife. While the new system with it's 10" Screen was amazing...I'm the kind of guy that wants all the full functionality of what this incredible system can offer so I purchased this Navigation Chip which simply slides into the front of the Radio Brain Unit behind the screen. It instantly updates and "BAM" you have up to date navigation for all of the United States in moments! If you have the Stinger Infotainment System and want all of the options...you must purchase and install this navigation card. Additionally, the team at Stinger is amazing, professional and so knowledgeable about installation tips and guidance. Best Ever upgrade for your Jeep Wrangler! Thank you Stinger Team!
