My 11 year old always wears this under her goalie uniform. I love the extra protection on her elbows and chest. My kid normally wears a youth large or women XS.

Took a little convincing to get my daughter to try this, but once she wore it for a few practices she makes sure it goes in the laundry right after practice so it's clean for the next one. It won't shield you from bad technique, and being a goalie hurts, but this definitely helps.

Well made shirt. Some sports garments worn under gear are really thin. That's not the case with this. it's meant to protect and last. It's not exactly like wearing a 2nd skin - protection comes with a cost, but you'll get used to wearing it. There have been comments on the fit. It's different from body to body, but realize this is meant to be a conforming garment. If you order your normal size shirt, it's not going to fit like a T-shirt, it's going to fit like a compression shirt - that's the intent. But if you want this to fit like a t-shirt on you for some reason, order a size or two up. To each their own. If you are a serious soccer player, or just like to play hard an minimize the effect on your body, this shirt is one piece of that protection for you.

This shirt is so lightweight and comfortable. I find myself reaching for it, even when I’m not on the field.It wicks away sweat and really keeps you cool.The pads on the elbows help a lot to prevent turf burn.The cut and design is flattering, even if you’re small-busted like me.I like pairing this shirt with the turf burn leggings for maximum coverage. I find my skin looks so much better now that I’m protecting those key areas when I play.PRO TIP: if you eat a high protein diet, you might find that your athletic wear stinks bad after you sweat in it. I’ve found a cheap solution to this: just add a little white vinegar to the washing machine with your clothes. It helps break up the enzymes in the sweat and leaves the clothes smelling a lot fresher. It’s cheap too!

Quality was what they had in mind when designing this sturdy keepers shirt. Looks great and a great value for the money. The fit was a bit snug at first, but with use feels great. Color doesn't fade in cold water wash.
