My son liked them so much, he cried when it was time to take them off lolI only knocked this rating down a star because it is a tight fit to get on due to the lack of wiggle room under the tongue. Even after taking the velcro strip all the way out of the loop, the tongue of the shoe makes it tough to put on. My hope is that this will get better/loosen up with more wear.I've been buying Stride Rite for my son for a little over a year and haven't been disappointed yet. So far, these shoes seem durable, they are machine washable and easy to wipe clean. Traction on the bottom is good and they fit my son's narrow feet well. They have more of a "big boy" appearance than past Stride Rite shoes I've purchased, which may be why my son loves them so much. I really appreciate being able to buy these in a half size, as I feel a full size up would have been too big for him. Overall, I'm happy with the shoes and will continue to support this brand as long as I can find the styles/sizes I need at affordable prices.

I have tried EVERY shoe for my son’s wide feet. He developed overlapping toes because of how crowded his feet were in shoes. But these are LITERALLY the only shoes (aside from athletic cleats) that he wears now because we had complete resolution of the toes overlapping when we started having him wear only these shoes.

We bought these awhile back for my very active 2 year old and they have lasted almost a year ! Our little one is small so she stayed a size 5 for awhile but we noticed her feet are starting to grow a little bit so we are now purchasing a size 6 . They hold up GREAT ! Very easy to clean either I wipe them or I just throw them in the washer and let them air dry and they hold up very nicely ! I definitely recommend! 10 out of 10!

They fit way smaller then other shoes.
