When installing this make sure the base you are securing the handrail to is stable and secure. I mounted mine to a concrete stair and it worked well. The provided lag bolts are likely adequate, but I opted to purchase higher quality lag bolts from my large orange hardware store. Once installed I was able to put my full force into it and it withstood the force perfectly.Measuring was simple, I used the assembled handrail as a jig.For the price the quality is very good. Much better than I expected. For $120 I have zero hesitation recommending this handrail.
