This hook is very easy to work with, especially on certain crochet stitches that require several loops together. I use the Susan Bates cushion grips for comfort.

This is exactly what I was looking for - but couldn’t tell by photographs if it had the deep cut-out I was looking for - it does!

I like the pointed head, but the hook is so short it doesn't fit in my hand correctly. I have big hands but not, like, monster hands and don't have this problem with other hooks. Also the sharp lip sometimes catches and rips the yarn instead of pulling away smoothly.
