It is so difficult to find heavy duty gloves that fit my hands without them being too long, wide, and bulky. These aren't perfect, but they fit without too much extra leather bulk at the sides and tips of the fingers. I've not yet used them with the feral cats, so I'm not ready to comment on their bite resistance, but I'm happy with them simply for fitting.(Bonus hint, roping gloves - you know, for cattle roping - come in actual women's sizes; just use your ring size to find the right ones They work well for light duty leather glove work and have the seams set correctly so they don't rub a blister with long use.)

My senior cat is not too partial to me removing her knots. She lets me know this by chomping down on my hands and arms. I am so happy with these gloves because I can do the work I need to do, with plenty of dexterity, in a shorter amount of time, and stay blood free! I highly recommend these gloves!

Liked that they are saving my hands and arms while handling my (ferocious) kitten. Dislike that they're too long in the fingers to effectively clip claws, which is why I needed them. BC they're not for use w water, I also can't deflea w a comb, which requires water for dunking. However, I'm glad to have them and I'm sure necessity will discover workarounds.

i bought these animal handling gloves for my wife when a colleague offered his mature African gray parrot to us. After two days honeymoon with her, she started biting my wife's fingers. (She is a musician and a woodworker.) With the gloves, the parrot has weathered the move to a new home and new owners. With the gloves, the bird no longer bites and injures. She seems to have overcome her anxieties and essentially made the transition. The Kevlar gloves provide excellent protection and have made the return to enjoying the African gray, who speaks many words, makes even more familiar sounds, and now appears well-adjusted to the new surroundings, delightful. These gloves should be strongly considered for their intended purpose by anyone in similar straits.
