Good quality fabric and construction. It's more like a men's sized version of a women's shirt. Size and proportions okay but zipper is for a woman's garment.

The material seems durable and is thick and protective without being hot.Color is vibrant and easy to spotI bought one for my husband and returned my woman’s one for the same one I bought my husband. I liked the looser fit and thumb holes

I exchanged a Medium for a Small size to get a snug-fitting swim shirt. Insulation against cold depends on the garment's tight fit sealing the cold air or water out.

Being a long-time Coolibar (EXPENSIVE) customer for attire like this, the SwimZip Rash Guard was a welcome (comparatively inexpensive) option. Unfortunately for me, it's a "not quite". Although the description says relaxed fit, it's pretty tight. I'm a not an Olympic swimmer, but I'm not tremendously out of shape either, but this shirt is really tight around anything except a athletically cut waistline. I'm used to a much looser (but still very functional) fit with the Coolibar equivalent. However, the fit is my only gripe, because everything else about the shirt is excellent. I love the the thumbholes in the sleeves -- that would work really well when surfing/body boarding, it's plenty long in the body so it wouldn't ride up, the zipper seems excellent including the the "garage" at the neck so it doesn't rub. All around and great shirt, but I wish it was a looser fit or that they offered an XXL size. I'm not sure what country these are designed for, because I don't know too many American men who aren't as big as me or bigger.

This is one of the great swim/sun accessories of all-time. Used in Hawaii sun and it performed flawlessly. Features especially valued include: the high neck (when fully zipped), it comes up your neck similar to the way a mock t-shirt might providing that extra inch or so of coverage, and the easy to use zipper, Not a finicky, difficult to line-up zipper. That may not sound important, but in high beach winds easy zipping is a plus.I am 6'2", 230 lbs, a 46/48 long coat size, and the men's xl fit perfectly. It is slightly looser than a traditional swim shirt when wearing it dry, and it loosens up in the water. The ends of the sleeves are the loosest part, but ther are holes to insert thumbs if you are swimming or otherwise want to ensure the sleeves stay down. unlike a skin tight pullover swim shirt, I was able to comfortably wear this 'dry' on the walk down to the beach. Getting it on/off is much easier than with a traditional swim shirt, particularly a wet one.The white looks sharp, especially with its blue trim, and it dries in the sun and wind in about 15 minutes. All in all, highly recommended.
