Essendo abituato ad altri obiettivi di marca Sigma ero scettico nella scelta, ma non me ne sono pentito. Possiamo dire che Tamron ha fatto un ottimo lavoro con questa lente che comunque non costa poco. Parlando di qualità e di luminosità parla il valore F2.8 che vuol dire un bel bokeh e tanta nitidezza. La forma del Tamron effettivamente non è ben studiata come quella di Sigma, ci sono delle bombature che sembrano strane non essendo perfettamente cilindriche, anche i bottoni non sono tanto comodi anche se mi sono abituato al lock che essendo in vista è abbastanza immediato da controllare per la messa in sicurezza dell estensione della lente oltre i 24mm. Il 24-70mm di Tamron è un ottima multifocale tuttavia da abbinare comunque ad un 70-200 F2.8. 5stelle per questo gioiello sono d’obbligo vai Tamron!

All excellent, I recommend this lens for the quality and the 2.8, the only negative it’s the size and it’s too heavy.

Exceeded my expectations. I had a test run as it came and easily fell for it. It will help me most when covering events. Center focus is snappy. Sharp at 2.8 SOOC . Pro looking and built compared to previous gen of tamrons. Again I wasn't expecting much as I had the tamron 17-50 2.8 lens from way back then on a crop body and that lens was a 50/50 on usable images. This, it is like on par with my L lens based on my needs. 5/5 will keep this on the body 100% of the time.

キヤノンのEOS5Dmk4で使用しています。以前、EF2470F2.8L II USMを使用していました。描写は一流なのでしょうが、重いうえに手振れ補正もなく、子供を撮るのに最適とは思えませんでした。そのため、だんだんに使わなくなり、ついには売却してしまいました。その後、標準レンズはやはり必要と考え、F4通して選ぼうと思ったのですが、EF24-105F4L II ISは、キットレンズとして購入も、初期のトラブルで信用がなく、小三元の標準ズームを買うのなら、F2.8通しを買った方が、と、逡巡。結局、手振れ補正があり、柔らかい描写を期待して、このタムロン製に落ち着きました。手振れ補正は流石に効きが良く、色付きや、描写も良いと思います。柔らかく、あくまで自然な色付きですが、決して眠い画ではありません。逆光にも強く、フレアやゴーストで、ひどい目にあうことはないと思います。多少出ますが。ただ、購入時前ピンで、カメラ内のピント調整でしっかりと意図したところにピントが合うようになりました。標準ズームとしては、それなりに重さはありますが、その分、しっかりと手振れ補正が効いて、バランスも良いですので、手振れの心配が減り、光量の少ない場所でも、あまりISO感度を上げずに手持ち撮影に挑めます。操作性も特にむつかしいところはなく、誰にでも扱えると思います。ただ、やはりサードパーティ製品だけに、私のようにピントがずれていることもあり、その辺はスキルが必要かと思います。そんなあたりも含め、値段も高くないと思いますし、キレキレの画ではなく、柔らかい画で、精細管もある画を出してくれるのは評価できると思います。買って損のないレンズというより、値段以上の性能ではないでしょうか。
