I can't use this on my factory Chevrolet 3500 hitch to reduce down. The ears that are flared out prevent it from sliding in any further and due to the location of the pin holes being drilled these are useless for me. My hitch is a 2.5 inch from the factory. I don't know if other receivers might be drilled in different locations or not. I also don't quite understand why there is a big American flag on it but then it says made in China.

These adapters fit together very easily, almost too easily. I mean you couldn't throw them together from 6 feet away, but there will definitely be a good rattle once all the parts (including the actual hitch that these are meant to adapt to) are fitted together.The steel is reasonably thick and seems strong enough. The finish is nice too. I am, however, very suspect of anything that includes the graphics they chose to apply to the adapters. They could have at least done their homework and not included a US flag with 15 stars and 15 stripes. There are also mistakes made on the graphic that portrays the sizes of the adapters. The part that gets me is that they printed this glaringly wrong information on their part for everyone to see and it didn't seem to bother them at all. If they don't care about those mistakes, will they really care about manufacturing mistakes that maybe you can't see?
