Works good for our drains that are missing their plugs. Catches all the hair and drains well as long as you clean it daily. It does leave a tiny bit of water around the base but I usually pop it out with my foot after the shower to drain it all the way and to remove to clean the hair off each time.

This tub drain stopper is well made, easy to use, looks good and catches my long hair going down the drain.

Bought a house and tub area needed big cleanup and drain push-in plug broken, removed old one and just literally dropped this new one in, works like a charm and even makes tub look better. Can’t be any easier than that. Great little invention.

Using it to replace the Moen push up/down drain stopper for the bathtub. As advertised, multifunctional gadget. A bit pricy but metal lasts longer.

I rely on these reviews quite a bit, so this is to pay it forward. This drain stopper works great for my purposes, but might not fit the bill for you. With the gasket on that comes with the device (actually 3 different sizes in the package), I am able to push the little plunger and fill up my sink, and it does not drain out. However, with the gasket on, in my sink, it leaves a small puddle of water around the device/drain that does not quite drain away. We're not talking much, something like a 1/16" deep, up to maybe one inch around the drain, but a small puddle nonetheless that might bother some people. However, for my purposes, I simply removed the gasket and my sink drains completely. I never have a need to fill up my bathroom sink anyway, and that is not why I purchased it. I live in an apartment, and for some unknown reason, several years ago, management removed the drain stopper device so it left a one and a quarter inch open drain. All I was concerned about was loosing a toothpaste cap (which happened) or whatever down the drain and stopping it up, so I tried several different drain filters over the years. The best I could find that fit my small sized drain opening (1 1/4"), were those basket style drain filters with wire mesh. I grew to hate them as the wire mesh was so fine that they quickly got clogged up with nasty stuff, like in a day or two, and I was constantly cleaning them out with a Q-tip or whatever. I guess my saliva, toothpaste residue and beard hairs created a thick enough film to build up quickly. The end result was that the basket would clog up quickly and I was constantly having to clean out the nasty gunk.I even poked holes in the wire mesh with a screwdriver to make the holes bigger, but it still got clogged up quickly. Then I saw this device online and thought, Genius! It doesn't go down into the drain like a basket, but instead is a dome with much larger drainage holes than the basket styles I was able to find.I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it works perfectly for me. It fits perfectly in my small drain opening, looks good, but most importantly, has large enough drain hole openings that it does not get all gunked up at all.And if I ever have a need to fill up my sink for some reason, I can either easily slip on one of the gaskets or simply remove the drain device and put in a rubber stopper that I bought for that purpose (but never use). So, for my purposes, it works perfectly and I love it. And BTW-even with the gasket on, it easily lifts out of the sink hole, so if the little puddle bothers you, you could simply lift the device for a second and the puddle will drain away.
