The box of screws also comes with the drill bit and torx bit. The screws bite into the concrete and hold the plywood firmly in place.

I ordered this item in particular because it said it came with a drill bit so I would not have to purchase one separately. The screws and start bit came but there was no drill bit in the screw kit or shipping box. I was rather disappointed that I still needed to go to the store and purchase a drill bit to use the items.

These worked well for my project. I used them to attach furring strips to exterior concrete. The trick is to drive them slowly. If you try to zip them in they don’t grab. Worked well and made the job quick and easy.

I got my previous batch from HDepot. As I ran out, I ordered more on Amazon, expecting to get the same ones.Firstly, 3 screws were missing, not a huge deal but strange from a company like Tapcon.But then the blue color came off on my fingers. I never experienced that with Tapcon screws before.I will continue my project this weekend and see if they are as strong as the original.

It did exactly what it claims to do. It was helpful that this also included the drill bit and torx head. Drill bit worked great when paired with a hammer drill.
