This AC is probably 2x more expensive than similar models but I absolutely love the low profile design allowing me to still see through most of the window. Setup is a bit more involved for this one than just dropping in a standard window AC, but a huge advantage of this one is that is does a much better job of sealing the area around the AC than a standard unit. I'd say a normal AC would take maybe 10-15 min to set up and this one was a little closer to 45 due to the need to measure and cut the side inserts. The AC is super quiet and cools my 140(ish) square ft office in no time (which it should because it's rated for a much bigger room). For me it was well worth the extra cost!

I sealed a telescoping dryer vent with this tape, and it worked perfectly. Self-adhesive, easy to cut, peel, and install, it went on easily, was very smooth, and sealed the seams in the vent so no air leaks out when the dryer is running.Anywhere you need to seal something this tape does the trick. An escellent product.

I bought 8300 btu unit. I wanted the 12200 btu unit but it would have taken over a month to get it. I got the 8300 in 4 days. I was surprised how well this unit preforms and most surprising was how quiet it runs. You have to double check it’s turned on, it is so silent. Also install took me about 40 minutes by my self. I’ve had ever other kind of Air conditioner in the past. Traditional window units ,rollaround units. By far, this is the best unit on the market. Installation is a breeze, and also the unit puts no stress on your window or its frame unlike traditional units. Rollaround units are way more expensive and are loud and don’t cool the space down well at all because it’s like having a space heater in your house that’s blowing out cold air, counterproductive. This unit puts the hot elements outside and the cold elements inside which makes it super efficient quiet and worth every penny. I plan on getting the 12,200 unit sometime before next summer when it’s more readily available,the only note I would give to GE electric is please develop something similar to this for a casing windows , side closing windows.

Se apagaba despues de ~dos minutos. Sospecho que estaba danado el compresor. El vendor (Electron Mexico) en sus mensajes prometia de hacerlo bien pero a final de cuentas no quiso mandar un reemplazo.

This tape works very well in doing heat related wraps. it is a bit tuff to get started but once you start it it lays down nicely. Just wish it was a bigger roll. other then that is excellent tape for sealing up heat wraps

Edit after a having it a long while:Got wifi working which made huge difference not having to push the invisible buttons all the time now since I was able to create a schedule in the app. Now I have to say i would in fact recommend it. Still cools well does it's job and looks good.Overall: I can't recommend it. In it's current version, too many flaws for the price-tag. There is *probably* a better view-preserving window-unit out there.Pros:1) The saddle style AC, clearly an obvious reason for anyone buying these in the first place, is pretty awesome. Looks good inside and outside of the house. I have a nice view from my bedside window that is nice to be able to still enjoy in summer.2) The general design, form, and weight of the unit is nice.3) Easy installation, quality installation materials. The first time I've ever had a window AC perfectly seal around the frame with easy.4) It works! Keeps my 400sqft~ish room nice and cool.Cons:1) The display and buttons are "touch" light-up buttons. They are not physical buttons (cannot feel them) and the lights go off when idle. Incredibly hard to see, be it day or night. At night the lights are off and in a dark room, you have no clue where any of the buttons are. During the day, the lights are drown out by daylight... so, so frustrating.2) This is minor since it still looks good and hasn't broken yet but some of the interior plastic and metal framing seems cheap/flimsy. The exterior framing on mine is slightly bent on the outside just from the very smooth install.3) Noise: it's not quiet. I'd expect more from a relatively expensive unit. When the compressor shuts off it sounds like a small bomb. Lol... it scares me every night right as I'm almost asleep.4) I can't figure out how to connect the WiFi instructions say there is supposed to be a sticker on the unit with WiFi information, but there is not... at least not anywhere easy to find. I'm living without it for now although I'd very much like it to work. Having to call to resolve this is highly inconvenient.5) The fan on the unit seems weak. Not a lot of pressure from the output, I have a tower fan next to the unit to help spread the cool air. Haven't tried without the tower fan so not sure how the room would fare without it.

Used to secure filter accessory to clothes dryer duct.The tape is still in place, and doing its job after more than half a year....no complaints !

I ordered this. It came, it worked well and then the water pump broke. So draining water from the inside to the outside stopped. Theres basically no videos on this issue online so I figured I got a lemon, and returned it. Ordered it again and it has been FANTASTIC.it is very very easy to install, you do need 2 people. But as soon as it is sitting in place, plug it in and it immediately works like a charm. Here in Texas we were sitting around 110 outside with 25% humidity. The air blowing on the max cool setting on the inside comes out at 48. It blows colder, when the outside temp isn't as horrible. I got the app and love using the app. You can control all functions of the unit from the app and it tells you electricity usage. I also like the app because I can turn it on max cool as I'm leaving for work and get home to a chilled house. You can also make your own preset setting on the app which is nice to simply have one click options depending on your need.The function of the unit is very quiet both inside and outside the house.In addition to the app it comes with a remote that works well too.The saddle design allows for you to use 98% of the visible part of the window still. The foam it comes with to sit on and block the sides of the walls was very easy to install.Overall I strongly reccomend this unit. It blows ice cold when needed and it's features are ideal for any specific setting you want it at. Note however this is my first and only experience with a window unit.

La cinta se ve normal, no tiene marca y se ve como si fuera poco, espero me alcance para lo que necesito, la tuve que comprar de urgencia ya que la necesitaba pronto y no quería invertir mucho, si refleja y trae pegamento, está ok

I read the reviews before buying this. A bunch of people said that the tape wasn't 3M or any other recognized brand, and everyone commented that the fat roll in the photos was not at all what they received. That's exactly my experience. Clearly Amazon knows that it is promoting a misrepresented product, and that bums me out... it means that anything you buy on Amazon might be fake, because the company clearly is making no effort whatsoever to investigate our accusations. I've included 4 pictures. The first one is the most flattering... and the most important. I stuck the tape on the very edge of a penny, and it lifted the penny easily. Next picture's the package I received - I ordered the 2" wide tape. There's the penny along with the width of the roll, and there's the width of the tape - might be a fraction under 2 inches, but I'm glad it was close. Is the roll 15 feet long? I have no idea. Because the seller didn't cheat on the tape width, maybe he didn't cheat on the length.My suggestion to the seller is two-part:A) Stop showing photos of a thick roll, when you're shipping a very thin roll. Customers can only be disappointed (even if they're getting 15' of a strong, sticky tape).B) Stop claiming to be a brand that you're not. We buyers don't need a branded tape; we need a durable tape at a good price, and you seem to be offering that.

Llega en un empaque que no dice que es 3M pero a simple vista se nota la calidad, ya que tengo otra de 3M y es la misma calidad. Las especificaciones escritas en el empaque coinciden con las descritas aqui. Cabe mencionar que mi anterior cinta la compre en 2011 y no me la terminé, hoy en 2020 que la queria usar, sorprendentemente no perdió ninguna propiedad el adhesivo ni la cinta en si, como si estuviera nueva, estuvo bien guardada, pero en clima tropical y aún así resisitió. la use para cubrir partes que estan expuestas al sol y desde esa fecha han durado bien sin despegarse. Es increible la calidad y durabilidad en esta cinta.

es un rollo muy pequeño ni a un cuarto de pulgada llega espero me alcance para las dos calefacciones que tengo que lo dudo. Hay que fijarse para comprar uno mas grueso y ver bien especificaciones.
