My 5 pound 10 week old Sheltie puppy laid waste to this product within a couple of days, and I had to put it away. He really loved it, but it was nowhere near sturdy enough to stand up to his puppy teeth. I didn’t want to take the risk that he would eat the parts he pulled off. If you allow your puppy to snuffle it, make sure you are right there watching—even a small puppy could pull it to pieces.

This small snuffle mat is perfect for little dogs or even rodents! Though it's small in size, it has excellent pockets and nooks for hiding treats, making it great for mental stimulation. It’s a fantastic way to keep pets engaged and entertained. I’ve washed it a couple of times, and it holds up well in the wash. Highly recommend for anyone with smaller pets looking for a fun activity!

Could be a great option for some dogs... However, our puppy was able to lift the mat up and dump all the kibble from it. She thought the mat was a perfect play toy. To the snuffle mats credit, it held up to playtime well! If it had some strong suction cups it may have lasted longer as a snuffle mat before becoming a toy, lol.
