It comes in a very smooth and soft cushiony rubbery type mat. Like the same type of mat you would use for like your computer or laptop. It's very creative and fun to see dark magician girl in different ways but this one is perfect this one's more of a kind of like her being very spunky. The only thing I have an issue with this is that the the outline for it it's too light like the white of it is too light and it's very hard to see the writing on it because like it's very bright coloring on it but like if they were to have used like maybe like black lines or such then it would have probably been better or maybe maybe like possibly have done a bit more darker shade of white for the outlines and writing so that way it can it can pop out a little bit better but like if not it's just like it gives it more of a translucent look to it to which I love it I love that but when you trying to play a card game on it it probably would be better if I know where to put my my monsters and or spell traps exactly where they are instead of just being off by a little.
