thicker and sturdier than most of the bulk "homeless' socks on Amazon. Kids like them. good basic white sock.

Elastic doesn't go up and down, only a thin elastic spot at edge of top. These are good for me and my 10 year old I normally wear size large lil boys socks...or a 4 boys 6 in women's shoe...that being said they are pretty stretchy and as bad as my kid loses socks they are fine. Very thin and quality is not good, I definitely think they will shrink and I wouldn't recommend if you have a front load washer as I think they would only disappear and end up in the water pump. They are not the style of the picture but would be considered a mid ankle. They are white as stated...I don't think they would be warm at all which I actually appreciate, however if you have feet that swear they won't soak that up as they are much too thin.

Good price, I needed bulk socks and these were great. Our church was doing a collection for our homeless ministry. They were collecting socks for the homeless members of our community. These are nice socks for the price. They were a little on the thin side but they did hold their shape well. I opted for the gray color. These will be perfect for Summer. When we collect socks in the winter, I will choose otherwise as these would not be thick enough

On behalf of social workers everywhere, I implore you, please do not buy these to donate to any disadvantaged groups. I bought these for my older boys, because I've had it with the disappearing socks, the socks that look and smell like they were eaten and then choked up by a bog monster, and the repeated trips to buy replacement packs of socks at the you-know-where self-checkout time vortex. I bought a smaller volume of socks to try them first before I went in for the 150 pack, and I'm SO glad I did. The first pair already had holes in the toes. So did the second pair. I grabbed a pair from down in the middle of the pack, and the edge of the seam was starting to fray. These things are also super thin. I'm pretty sure wearing paper towels around your feet would be preferable. Seriously, I would not subject my entitled preteen boys who can disappear a 20-pack of Hanes quicker than they can my sanity on Spring Break to these horrible excuses for footwear. I certainly wouldn't hand them out to poor unsuspecting folks who are already struggling. If I could give an item -5 stars and then sentence its sellers to 20 years in prison, it would be this one.
