I really like this one much better than the one I bought last year that spiked into the ground Anxious to see how birdies like it :)

This birdbath is made from a heavy duty hard plastic material so I expect it to last a long time since it hopefully won't split if frozen. We put a heater inside to help prevent that. It comes with coated chains for hanging but I have it sitting on a stump. The birds love it and some mornings they are crowded around the entire rim getting their drinks or taking a bath. They seem to appreciate the holes in the rim for perching. It holds about a gallon of water and because so many birds use it we have to fill it twice a day. Our summers are hot, so the plastic won't absorb the heat and burn bird toes like a metal bird bath would.

Easy to put up. The birds loveit. Perfect depth and holds enough water for a good bathing. Get two!!

These are nice bird baths but I feel like the advertising is deceiving... In the description it says the material is metal and I couldn't find anywhere saying that they're actually plastic and only the chains are metal. I feel like they're not worth what they cost...
