This is what I was looking for—a jumbo mug that holds 16 ounces of liquid. I bought two of these. I haven't used them yet, but they appear to be sturdy, with substantial handles that leave enough space for fingers to grab them. Also, I ran them through the dishwasher, and they came through just fine.My only quibble is that they were so hard to find on Amazon! I searched and searched, and ordered two sets of mugs that were supposed to hold 16 ounces but didn't. If you're reading this review, congratulations! You can buy this mug with confidence.

We had been using some old soup mugs that were heavy and unwieldy. These are the perfect size (actually a bit larger than our old ones). They are a bit lighter, the look is elegant, and we are most definitely pleased.

love, love, LOVE these mugs!! They are very well made, handle the dishwasher well and are the perfect size whether you want to use for tea, soup or ice cream. Such a great value for the quality (have already run through the dishwasher many times) and they should last for many years.

We like these nice big mugs for soups or stews and the color is so pretty, a perfect periwinkle
