Bottom left plastic tab meant to secure the keyboard snapped almost immediately under the slight pressure needed to insert the keyboard under the palmrest; as a result, the keyboard cannot lay flat. Trackpad buttons (which need to be removed in order to access the screws) do not snap back into place.

I bought a used Laptop on Ebay that had a chinese keyboard and wanted to replace it with a US one. Install takes a little finesse, but result is good. Of special note on this one - there are thin plastic hooks on the laptop that latch into the underside of the keyboard. When the keyboard didn't sit flat, I investigated and found that the hooks need to penetrate the film covering the bottom of the keyboard and a few had not penetrated. I used an exacto knife to punch through the film, then reinstalled and it's all good.
