I have a box full of tool truck tools, but because no longer in that field but still want quality tools, tekton seems to be able to deliver that. now have multiple sets of specialty sockets and this seems equally well made. small amount of slop in head but not excessive. Strong enough for my needs which in this case is removing truck lug nuts at about 175lbs.

I used it on my lug nuts to get my wheels off. It worked like a champ. Very durable and well-made.

3/8 breaker bar feels good in your hands. The rubber grip really has some meat to it and gives you a good surface area if your hands are oily. Easy to wipe clean if you do get some grease on the bar or grip. The external pivoting head is nice as it allows you to apply more torque than an internal head.No more taping the breaker bar head with electric tape to get a socket on a bolt. The Tekton breaker bar pivoting head has some kind of internal spring mechanism to keep the head in place when trying to get a socket onto a bolt or nut.Unrelated to this breaker bar, but I have several other Tekton tools and am becoming a big fan of the manufacturer because of their quality and customer service. A ratchet got damage from falling off a truck and the directional switch broke. Without batting an eye, Tekton sent out a repair kit free of charge, the same day I contacted customer service to inquire about buying that part. I have no doubt that this breaker bar will provide years of service to its user(s) and if it does break, that Tekton will make things right with you.Thanks Tekton!
