This is probably the easiest home DIY repair ever. This moister sensor part works perfectly.I have a GE JVM6175SKSS OTR microwave. The moisture sensor stopped operating about a year ago. I had a service man out and he told me the microwave had to be removed from the wall to replace the sensor so I settled with that feature not working. Then I found this spetacular part on Amazon. I did some researching to find this is easy as can be to replace. The total time was less than 10 minutes.Step 1- unplug the microwave.Step 2- unscrew the 3 phillips head screws on the top of the microwave. Then slip the grill to the right to remove it off the microwave.Step 3- remove the phillips head screw that is holding the silver panel on the left side in place.Step 4- follow the wires to the silver box that contains the moister sensor. Lift off the top, pull off the plastic protector and slip out the broken moister sensor.Step 5- press on the new moister sensor. Place the plastic ring around it to hold it secure and place it back inside the little silver box. That's it. You have replaced the moister sensor. Put everything back and replace the 4 screws you removed. Plug the microwave back in and give it a test.I used a potato to ensure the moister sensor was operating properly. I put the potato on the glass tray and pressed the potato button. Eureka! It works just like new. What an amazing little part that was so very easy to replace. The price is exceptional and it works flawlessly. I absolutely recommend it 👌.

Fixed the Gas Sensor error on my over the range microwave.I highly suspect that what causes these sensors to go bad are microwave popcorn as I had no issues with the microwave until I started doing lots of microwave popcorn.
