UPDATE:A little while after posting my review I was contacted by the company to let me know that they read my review and took my insights seriously and explained that the original design was based on the intention for the rack to fit over cabinet or wardrobe doors, or over hotel doors to use when traveling, which is why it didn't fit on my door. They went on to acknowledge this was an oversight on their part and they were now including spacers in all new orders to fill in the gap, no longer requiring the stuffed cardboard like I used (see 2nd picture). They asked if I would like them to send me the updated product and I said I would appreciate it and would be happy to change my review after trying the new product. They told me that wasn't necessary and they just wanted to make sure that their customers were happy with their product as that was their main goal.Well, I do what I want so I added an update anyways for a couple reasons:1. The rack actually holds more weight than I thought in my first review and has held up with no functional issues so I wanted to note that.2. I want to highlight this company's exceptional customer service and commitment to product improvement. Unlike many businesses that respond to negative reviews with generic refund offers, this company sent a personalized message that addressed my specific concerns. What truly impressed me was their proactive approach to problem-solving. Instead of simply acknowledging the issues, they took concrete steps to enhance their product by including spacers and updating the instruction sheet. These small but significant changes greatly improved the product's versatility. The company's willingness to actively read, listen to, and implement customer feedback is commendable and, in my experience, quite rare. Their responsiveness not only resolved my initial concerns but also demonstrated a genuine dedication to customer satisfaction and product quality. This experience has significantly improved my opinion of both the product and the company, setting a standard that other businesses should aspire to meet.3. The new spacers work great and are much more aesthetically pleasing than my folded up cardboard (see 3rd photo with black spacers).Changed review from 3 to 5 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I thought this was a great concept, better than just having a hanging hook(s) when hanging clothes. I hang dry a lot of clothes so having this extend outwards seemed like a great way to hang damp clothes not laying right on top of each other and leaving a little space in-between.This product included 2 door hooks with different widths to fit different doors, but neither were even close for my door (see photos), with one being much too small and the other being much too wide. My door is 1 3/8", very standard interior residential door, and their wider hook was a hair over 2" and the narrower one about 1". I don't know how they came up with those measurements, but neither really makes sense. It is also a waste for them to send 2 different hooks, because whichever one you don't use is now useless since it only comes with 1 rack. They should've had the part that goes over the door adjustable, so it would actually fit on the door (and you wouldn't have to wedge something in the extra space to keep the hook in place) and you wouldn't have to waste 1/2 of the product you don't use. Deducted 1 starDespite them not being the wrong size, I made it work and in addition to adding material to the space where the hook goes past the door I used alien tape to secure the rack on the back side of the door too. Rack was now up and ready for use. I quickly learned that you have to be mindful of the items you are wanting to hang, because the rack (especially the extension part) would start to sag with the weight of 2 pairs of jeans on it. And 2 pairs of jeans is nowhere close to the max weight of 45lb they claim in the product description. Deducted 1 starOverall, I will continue to use it, mostly because it is taped to my door, but I wouldn't purchase again. I would only recommend this if your door is 1" or 2" (not in-between) and you only plann on hanging light items (more shirts than jeans).
