We love this ball. Our dog lives to chase balls and this one is a lot of fun. It bounces to incredible heights and no matter how much your dog chews, this can handle it. It's heavy, so a large dog will handle it with ease, but it's definitely not a good choice for smaller animals. If you are like us and have spent a fortune on toys only to have them been destroyed in hours the line of toys from this company will be survivors. Highly recommend.

Went through red and black kong with new 60lb rescue dog, destroyed both in 10 minutes or less because he could get his teeth into a hole/edge and tear. Knew I needed something with a solid core. I do not like toys that don't have squish to them as those will break teeth, so I wanted rubber. This ball is solid with no edges or holes, but still has that rubber feel and give. He is able to sink his canines completely into the rubber and squishsquish his jaws (it's like his zen time), but can't break pieces off or push it far into the back of his jaw to gnaw it. It is large enough for the zoomies 'gotta grab it but its too big to be a fast catch so I knock it around once and have to chase it' type. At this point the thing has tons of holes, abrasions, and tears, but is still whole. It is heavy and will be loud when it falls off the couch or gets knocked around onto anything that isn't carpet, so be mindful of your downstairs neighbors. It also bounces nicely on concrete.

We are fostering a dog who is a power chewer, so we got this for her. She loves it - although sometimes gets frustrated that she can't tear it apart. She is about 46 pounds and the large works well for her as she has very powerful jaws. We are relieved that she can't chew off any "covering" (as she started to do with a large softball) or tear off any tennis ball fuzz. We save the tennis balls for "fetch" only. She does sometimes pick up and throw this ball around for herself, but being that it is much heavier than a tennis ball one just has to be careful they can't break anything with it. Their frisbee is great to learn too - especially for chewers, and to teach them how to pick it up. Both great toys, and worth it!

This ball was good for my aggressive chewer dog for about a month and then she managed to chew through it.I tried to figure out how to return but there isn't any way to do that if you're outside the return window of amazonSave your money, buy a cheaper ball

My dog plays with his ball every morning. It is one of his favourite toys. Well worth the money.
