I purchased the ThinSGO for Tesla Model Y Tow Hitch four months ago, and my experience has been mixed. While installation was straightforward, using it with U-Haul rental trailers proved challenging due to difficulties securing the double chain. I had to purchase additional wide hooks for secure attachment. Concerningly, after just four months in Northern Virginia weather, rust has begun developing on the hitch, raising questions about its long-term durability. Despite the easy installation, the rapid rust formation is a significant drawback, forcing me to remove the hitch. Overall, the product's performance and longevity have fallen short of expectations, particularly in terms of weather resistance.

This is a great hitch receiver. It is very heavy duty and look well made. The welds are smooth and looks high quality. Thick steel metal with a powder coated finish. I am mechanically inclined so installation was pretty simple for me to do. It actually shouldn't be difficult for anyone with some basic DIY knowledge. The instructional video shows all the steps remove the bumper and install the hitch. No modifications or cutting needed at all. The hitch cover and still be used to completely hide the receiver when its not being used.
